These farmers’ daughters grew up across the section from each other on family farms in east central Minnesota.

Here’s our story in a nutshell, which I think we can both agree is a place we both seem to live more often than not. Or maybe that’s the nut house. It’s a gray area. Some days we don’t even know.
First and foremost, we were Busy Bees…in more ways than one. The beginnings of these farm girls escapades all started with the Busy Bees 4-H club in Mille Lacs County, MN. Whoa – now that brings us back. Seems like when we think about all the antics of our 4-H days we can’t help but want to be back in those care free times when our biggest worry was if our lambs and heifers were trained well enough to not drag us all over the show ring at the fair. And let me tell you – we could certainly write a book about the five greatest days of our summers….the Mille Lacs County Fair. Maybe we will….stay tuned. I wouldn’t hold my breath though if I were you.
Eventually our 4-H days were over and we went to college. This is where our separation begins. I packed up and headed north to the University of MN – Duluth. Duluth was good to me. I ran some track and got a degree.
Joslyn headed east after high school to University of Wisconsin – River Falls. River Falls was good to Joslyn. She got a degree.
Missions accomplished.
Of course we continued to be busy bees in our own ways in college. Seems like once you get involved in too many things it’s kind of addicting and you just can’t stop and sit still for anything.
I’ll fast forward a little bit so we don’t bore you too much with our life stories…...Tania taught for a while ….went to grad school , got married, moved to Fargo, had a baby. Joslyn went to work for the State of Wisconsin, State of Nebraska, State of North Dakota. Are you dizzy from all that moving?
Finally! We are back together again. Well, at least as together as we can be…it’s all relative, when you look back at the 15 years we spent states away from each other. We're only an hour and a half away from each other now.
So now what?! Well, we’re aspiring business tycoons. That’s right, we’re gonna be rich! Ha, well at least we hope to break even - someday. See what we’ve gotten ourselves into here: http://www.countryfiedclothingllc.com/ Not to mention we are also hopelessly addicted to being crafty…wait…hopelessly or hopefully? I don’t know you decide. We'll be sure to post some of our completed projects. We are passionate about agriculture. We craft, bake, cook, garden, take some pictures and anything else we feel like we wanna do – GOSH! (do you get the reference to Napoleon Dynamite here?) . We’re pretty much Jacks of All Trades, Masters of None…or maybe it’s all, no maybe just some. We don’t know, you be the judge. Like I said, once you get to the point where you’re just so busy all the time, it’s like an addiction….you just can’t stop. Can’t stop. Ever.
